Perkins V State Plan

This plan was developed based on the statewide CTE Strategic Plan with input from broad stakeholder groups across Colorado and in consultation with other state agency partners, including the Workforce Development Council, Department of Higher Education, Department of Education, Department of Labor and Office of Economic Development and International Trade.

Perkins funding represents less than 10% of the total Colorado investment in Career and Technical Education programs, but is an important supplemental source of funding that the education system uses to help prepare learners for the jobs of today and tomorrow to support our workforce needs in Colorado and build stronger communities.  Thank you for your feedback on our state plan!
