Concurrent Enrollment and Articulation ‐ Colorado High School of Business (HSB) programs work with the Community Colleges within Colorado designing concurrent enrollment credit. Metro and UNC offer concurrent enrollment.  Currently we are working with CU‐Boulder, School of Leeds, CU‐Denver, Business School and UNC‐Monfort College of Business in developing a partnership.

Standards Alignment ‐ Colorado has aligned the High School of Business curriculum with the national Common Core State Standards (these standards are designed to ensure that students graduating from high school are prepared to enter credit bearing entry courses in two or four year college programs or enter the workforce) as well as the competitive events for DECA and Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA).

Business Support ‐ Each local HSB program requires active and ongoing business participation through a local steering committee.  The committee members offer classroom support for project based learning, provide business expertise as guest speakers, arrange for internship and shadowing opportunities, and support financially the professional development training for teachers and program sustainability. These program requirements afford a successful partnership between classroom learning and real world experiences. Junior Achievement of Rocky Mountain, Inc. has been actively involved in these programs
